The Program Coordinator – Plant Biosecurity leads the delivery of Victoria’s state‑wide plant biosecurity program, providing clear leadership across people, budget, risk and performance. The role ensures effective governance and strong program outcomes through continuous improvement and responsive management.
You will build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including industry and government partners, to support consultation, influence outcomes and deliver projects on time. The role identifies and responds to emerging plant biosecurity issues and ensures teams are prepared to undertake biosecurity and emergency response and recovery operations.
You will provide high‑level strategic advice to senior leaders on agricultural and biosecurity matters, while fostering culturally safe, inclusive environments where people feel valued and able to participate, free from discrimination.

This is a fixed term position available until 19 April 2027. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
