The impact you'll have:
At the Workplace Injury Commission (WIC), we've helped thousands of injured workers and employers to resolve their disputes and move forward with their lives. We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact.
As we journey through transformation here at WIC, we need you to join us as a Program Change Lead. In this role, you will be accountable for ensuring Program Elevate, WIC's transformative program, is understood, supported, adopted and ultimately successful across the organisation. The Program comprises four interdependent projects - service model redesign, case management system replacement, a business classification scheme and an operating model.
You will lead the program's change function and a small team of change professionals, establishing a high-performing practice focused on driving business outcomes rather than simply producing change artefacts.
Drawing on your experience leading change in large, complex transformation programs, you will help shift the organisation from traditional consultation-based approaches to a culture of continuous improvement, experimentation and incremental delivery. You will build stakeholder understanding that while not every idea can be implemented immediately, every contribution plays a role in the broader transformation journey.
Working closely with the Program Director, Executive Leadership Team, sponsors and project managers, you will identify and address barriers to adoption, build organisational readiness and create alignment around the program's strategic objectives. You will ensure change initiatives are closely linked to delivery outcomes, business priorities, workforce capability, industrial relations considerations and benefits realisation.
Through your leadership, Program Elevate will become more than a technology or system implementation. It will deliver sustainable organisational transformation, driving lasting behavioural, operational and cultural change across the organisation.
