The VCAA is a statutory body responsible to the Victorian Minister for Education, serving both government and non-government schools. We provide high quality curriculum, assessment and reporting for all Victorian students birth to 18 years.
An exciting opportunity exists to join the VCE Examinations Unit for a fixed term full-time position.
The VCE Examinations unit develops and produces all VCE written examinations, including those for the Northern Hemisphere Timetable. The unit produces alternative format examinations, examination specifications, sample examination materials and examination reports.
Role purpose
The Production Officer provides program and administrative support to Exam Development Managers, Production Coordinator and Program Officer in the development and production of VCE Examinations with a focus on materials for languages.
This includes, but is not limited to, scheduling and organising panel meetings, managing the submission of examinations, liaising with printers and recording studios, overseeing the vetting arrangements for the development of the examinations, managing the Examination Unit's inbox and incoming phone calls, supporting the Examination Development Managers in the preparation of examination documents (e.g. scanning, printing, arranging couriers) and managing the update of Languages examination files.
