The Department of Government Services (DGS) was established on 1 January 2023 to improve everyone's experience of doing business and interacting with the Victorian government. We bring important day-to-day services together in one department to make things easy and seamless for Victorians and businesses. We are doing this by connecting and digitising our systems and platforms across state and local government as well as streamlining our corporate and procurement services.
About the role
As a Product Manager in the Core Services tribe at DGS, you will help design and improve the reusable services that government regulators, agencies and departments use to enact legislation. These services provide capabilities like identity, payments, government navigators, and form submission. Your job is to make sure these products are easy to use, meet the needs of the public and public service, and it a more efficient and a better place to work. You'll work closely with different teams and departments, using feedback and data to guide decisions and make improvements. This role is a great opportunity to make a real difference behind the scenes in how government works.
