THE ROLE
The Principal Project Manager, Emergency Management will work across the Department to drive digital transformation across the current Emergency Management IT systems. The transformation program includes a substantial investment over two years to enhance EM IT systems to significantly improve the service level and quality of EM service delivery to Victorians impacted by emergencies. The enhancements will review and transform current systems to deliver direct supports to the community, including easier and integrated ways for Victorians impacted by emergencies to access services and supports they need. It will also deliver business benefits such as faster relief payments, processing efficiencies, and improved fraud and risk controls.
The Principal Project Manager role is responsible for oversight of the project over its lifespan. The role will ensure robust planning, stakeholder management and risk mitigation are embedded across the project to ensure effective delivery, including:
