The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking a Principal Practitioner to provide a critical role at Corella Place and Emu Creek.
About the Business Unit
The Post Sentence Branch, within the Community Operations and Offender Services Division of Corrections Victoria, provides central oversight and governance of the post sentence scheme and offenders subject to post sentence orders.
About the Role
The Principal Practitioner will require broad and extensive case management expertise for oversight of case management practices and the capability to provide effective staff supervision, training and mentoring across a service stream of residents, including violent and sexual offenders and post-sentence supervision.
The Principal Practitioner will require broad and extensive case management expertise for oversight of case management practices and the capability to provide effective staff supervision, training and mentoring across a service stream of prisoners on parole, including violent and sexual offenders and post-sentence supervision. The Principal Practitioner reports to the General Manager, Corella Place and is a key position in the regional and CCS management structure providing supervision of case managers monitoring prisoners on parole and offenders subject to post-sentence supervision.
