THE ROLE
The Principal Practice Adviser – Child Protection, will support the work of the Victorian child protection program via the child protection focused functions and work areas across the Office of Professional Practice (OPP).
The successful candidate will progress portfolio and branch priorities led by the Chief Practitioner and Statewide Principal Practitioners, including project work, stakeholder engagement, consultation and provision of subject matter expertise for materials.
The candidate will be required at times, to provide advice to operational child protection areas on individual client matters, for children known to child protection and those in out-of-home care, as required.
Experience in the operational delivery of statutory child protection services is essential for this role, as well as strong understanding of the current operational landscape for child protection and out of home care services.
