About the role
Fixed Term Opportunity - 12 months
The Principal Policy Analyst leads complex policy and legislative reform projects to improve Victoria’s planning system. The role manages reforms from planning through to implementation, undertaking policy reviews, research, evidence analysis and consultation to develop practical, evidence-based advice for Government.
The role provides strategic advice to Ministers and senior executives, prepares high-quality policy and legislative documents, and works closely with government, industry and community stakeholders. It also establishes project governance, manages risks and implementation, develops reform options, and promotes culturally safe, inclusive practices throughout policy development and delivery.
