About the Division
The Service Delivery and Provider Expansion Branch plays a key role in shaping and managing the early childhood education (ECE) sector to ensure equitable access, quality provision and efficient resource allocation as the Best Start, Best Life reforms are implemented. The branch works to address emerging issues related to ECE system design and service commissioning - using data, research and policy analysis to generate strategies and solutions - and collaborates across the department and with external stakeholders.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Principal Policy Advisor to work on strategic policy and projects through every stage of the policy cycle. This includes undertaking research and data analysis to formulate policy options and advice, preparing briefs and other written materials, guiding projects through consultation, governance and approvals processes, and developing, implementing and monitoring project plans.
