About the Business Unit:
The Courts, Civil and Criminal Law (CCCL) group supports the Attorney-General to deliver criminal and civil law policy responsibilities, working collaboratively with key entities across the justice system and the department to ensure legal policy reform is strategic, relevant, holistic and people-centred.
CCCL supports 45 independent legal, assurance and integrity entities across the DJCS portfolio including the Office of Public Prosecutions, Victoria Legal Aid and the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission.
About the Role:
The role of Principal Analyst, Courts Policy, Strategy and Legislation will be responsible for leading key policy projects through data stewardship and strong stakeholder engagement. Bringing financial expertise, the position will help to inform sustainable justice sector reform that delivers on immediate and long-term government priorities.
