About the role
This is a Fixed Term Position until 31 December 2026.
The Policy Officer supports the development and delivery of planning and infrastructure policy for the TTZACP, which will introduce new planning controls across 50 activity centres to enable up to 300,000 additional homes close to transport, services and jobs.
To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, sound judgement and the ability to contribute to complex policy development in a fast-paced environment. You will support stakeholder and community engagement activities and prepare clear, timely advice for senior leaders, Ministers and external stakeholders.

Qualifications and experience
A relevant qualification in planning, architecture, engineering, environment, social sciences or a related field is desirable. Experience working in government or similar environments, particularly in policy development, planning or Ministerial processes, is also desirable.
