THE ROLE
Working in the Children, Families and Safeguarding Division, this Policy Officer role will undertake policy work and contribute to initiatives that promote and protect the safety and wellbeing of social service users, children and young people at risk of harm, abuse and neglect.
The role will contribute to the development of research, analysis, papers, and policy briefings suitable for informing senior executive and ministerial decision making. The position will require excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to interpret research and data, and an understanding of policy, legislation and regulations in the Victorian context. The role holder will also have the skills and ability to use initiative to support delivery in a fast-paced and changing policy environment.
