THE ROLE
As a Policy Officer in the Aboriginal Initiatives Children and Family Reform Unit, you will be responsible for supporting the design and delivery of policy, strategy, legislation and programs for Aboriginal families, children and young people associated with Victoria's Child Protection, Care Services, and Child and Family Services system.
Your role will include working collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders across government and the child and family service system, including various government department oversight bodies and funded agencies, to support and inform the delivery of culturally inclusive strategies that are innovative, evidence-informed, and reflective of best practice to improve outcomes for Aboriginal children and families.
This role will be suited to a dynamic team-player and clear communicator committed to improving the lives of Victorian families.
