An exciting opportunity exists for two talented and passionate individuals to join the Social Policy Group, Families, Fairness and Housing Branch as a Policy Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet. We have 1 x Ongoing and 1 x Fixed-term (until February 2027) on offer.
The Families, Fairness and Housing Branch shadows and supports the work of the Department of Families, Fairness and Housing (DFFH). Families, Fairness and Housing Branch provides high-quality, strategic analysis and advice on a range of policy issues related to the DFFH portfolios to support the Premier and Cabinet.
The role requires a proactive self-starter with good understanding of government processes and an ability to work in a complex, sensitive and fast paced environment and be part of a high performing and supportive team.
The successful candidate will demonstrate strong policy, analytical and communication skills coupled with an ability to influence stakeholders and work effectively in a team environment.
