As the Policy Officer - energy infrastructure regulation (critical infrastructure) you will support the State implementing the Victorian Critical Infrastructure Resilience Strategy and Part 7A of the Emergency Management Act 2013 for the energy sector, with a focus on energy infrastructure resilience, including; the strategic preparation for energy emergencies, and industry assurance to government that their emergency preparedness controls are fit for purpose.
The position is required to support the effective regulation of the designated energy vital critical infrastructure, in turn, mitigating risks associated with the orderly transition of the energy sector, cyber risks, ongoing emergency preparedness of vital energy critical infrastructure and the essential service it provides.
Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications
This is a fixed term position available for a period of 24 months. The work location for this position is flexible within Victoria with hybrid work arrangements available.
