An exciting opportunity exists for a highly motivated, dynamic and flexible individual to join the Public Administration group in the Governance branch as Policy Officer at the Department of Premier and Cabinet.
As a Policy Officer in the Public Sector Governance team, you will work in a fast-paced and vibrant policy environment, among supportive and engaged peers. Your team contains deep public sector governance expertise and is part of a cohort with specialisations in governance, law, economics, and industrial relations. Governance Branch provides a positive, supportive culture and a work environment that enables high performance.
The Public Sector Governance team offers an opportunity to work at the centre of the Victorian Government on topical and challenging policy issues relating to public administration. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to the inner workings of government and apply your strategic thinking and engagement skills to a wide range of priority government initiatives.
To be successful in the role you will have proven ability to analyse and evaluate information, develop solutions to problems, demonstrated ability to plan and prioritise your work, and the ability to constructively engage with and consider input from stakeholders.
