The Role
Policy Advisers work on projects that seek to address critical issues facing the State. They are part of teams that use best practice management disciplines and deliver outstanding results for clients. They use exceptional analysis and critical thinking to formulate findings and recommendations. They produce compelling communications – briefs, reports and submissions that facilitate effective executive decision-making.

The position of Policy Adviser forms a part of the In-House Professional Services branch within the Economic Policy, Programs and Services group.
Economic Policy, Programs and Services (EPPS) supports delivery of sustainable economic development and employment growth for Victoria by providing leadership and expertise in policy design, research, analysis and advice, project management, delivery and evaluation. EPPS delivers on the priorities of the Small Business and Employment portfolio, enabling Victorian small businesses to thrive, enabling Victorians to achieve sustainable employment and economic inclusion, and increasing employment, business growth and prosperity opportunities for First Peoples in Victoria in a self-determined way.
