The Energy, Resources and Environment Branch of the Department of Premier and Cabinet is recruiting for a highly motivated policy adviser. Our branch advises the Premier on a broad range of policy initiatives and major projects, and this role is an excellent opportunity to work in centre of the Victorian Government in high profile and challenging portfolios.
The successful applicant will be part of a team of policy advisers in a fast-moving environment and play an important policy analysis, advice and coordination role. The position sits within the area of the branch that shadows the agriculture, climate action, environment and water portfolios. It requires policy analysis and coordination experience, strong communication skills, well developed interpersonal skills, sound conceptual and analytical skills, and the ability to readily adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
