The Role
The Policy Administrator, Policy and Insights supports the delivery of policy and research initiatives aligned to Creative Victoria's strategic agenda and departmental priorities. Working within the Policy and Insights team, the role contributes across the policy lifecycle by gathering and analysing data, preparing reports and briefings, and supporting the design and delivery of outcomes-focused initiatives. The role works collaboratively with colleagues and stakeholders, contributing to a respectful, solutions-focused team culture and building capability through learning, mentoring and exposure to a range of policy areas.

This position sits within the Policy and Delivery Branch of the Creative Victoria Group.
Creative Victoria is the State Government body dedicated to supporting, championing and growing Victoria's creative industries across arts, culture, screen and design. The branch brings together program delivery, investment, policy leadership and coordination across government and industry, and leads the development of Victoria's creative industries strategy.
About You
You have developing experience in policy design and development, with the ability to interpret and apply policy frameworks and draft policy materials using research and stakeholder consultation. You can determine appropriate data and evidence-gathering approaches, analyse information critically, and communicate insights clearly and succinctly through written materials and presentations to support informed decision-making.
