About the role:
Western Health is seeking either an experienced Plaster Technician or an individual that is motivated and keen to undertake a three-year Traineeship in order to become a Qualified Technician.
The Plaster Technician team at Western Health supports both the Adult and Paediatric outpatient clinics as well as the Inpatient Units in the application, modification and removal of casts, splints & braces.
You will be responsible for safely and effectively managing stable and unstable fractures, including manipulation of fractures, safely apply and remove total contact casts, and appropriately prioritise and action referrals and seek guidance when required.
As part of this role, you will be required to work across multiple campuses in order to achieve Western Health goal of providing Best Care.
