About the role
The role is Fixed Term fulltime until 4 January 2027.
Join the Planning and Land Services Group and provide planning assessments and advice for energy projects, with a strong focus on the statutory requirements of the Planning and Environment Act 1987 and the Victoria Planning Provisions. The role involves liaising with stakeholders, negotiating with applicants, preparing assessment reports and briefs for the Minister for Planning and contributing correspondence and inputs to the department’s data and information systems. Specifically, the Planner is primarily responsible for managing planning permits and planning scheme amendments for energy infrastructure projects.
