Neonatologist
The Role:
In April 2022, the PIPER Neonatologist model transitioned to a 24/7 on duty model. We are seeking applicants for a part time, ongoing and fixed term appointments available to commence February, 2026 to cover a resignation and parental leave. The Paediatric Infant and Perinatal Emergency Retrieval service (PIPER) is based at The Royal Children's Hospital campus in Parkville. The PIPER Neonatal Consultant group comprises 18 Neonatologists who provide cover 24/7 with onsite cover from 0700-2100 weekdays and from 0700-1900 on weekends. They primarily manage emergency referrals and retrievals. Additional roles include participating in clinical governance, education, research and administration activities of the service.
