About the role
We are seeking enthusiastic Physiotherapists to join our acute inpatient team in a Grade 2 Casual capacity to work weekends. There may also be opportunities for weekday work.
Working with us, you will use your acute physiotherapy skills and discharge planning expertise to deliver Best Care to a variety of acute and complex client cohorts, including the clinical areas of Cardiorespiratory, Neurological, General Medicine, Aged Care. You will use your experience in management of acute respiratory patients and clinically deteriorating patients both in the delivery of patient care on weekends and to support junior staff on site.
Our inpatient teams have a strong focus on patient-centred and holistic care combined with evidence-based practice to achieve excellent patient outcomes.

Working on the weekend will provide you with the opportunity to work as the senior Physiotherapist on site, enabling you to use your expertise to work autonomously, support junior staff with triage, complex clinical presentations and discharge planning and advocate for the Physiotherapy service.
A comprehensive orientation will be provided to the role. You will have access to training and development resources as well as access to our Physiotherapy and Allied Health professional development program.

Key responsibilities:
Independently triage weekend list and prioritise appropriately based on clinical need and demand
Provide safe and evidence based clinical assessment and management of Cardiorespiratory patients
Work autonomously while ensuring key collaboration with Physiotherapy and multidisciplinary teams
Be available to work a minimum of 1 shift per month
