YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Grade 1 Physiotherapist
Ongoing, Full Time Role | 80 hours per fortnight, including a Monthly ADO
An exciting opportunity exists for a new graduate or early-career Physiotherapist to join the Peter Mac Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy, Exercise Physiology, and Podiatry Department.
This role offers the chance to work in a world-class oncology setting, rotating through medical oncology, surgical oncology, and haematology wards while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care and professional growth. The opportunity also exists to complete a rotation(s) at Royal Melbourne Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver high-quality acute physiotherapy services to Peter Mac patients.
• Provide patient-centred care within the specialist area of oncology.
• Assist in discharge planning, goal setting, and developing ongoing care plans.
• Implement and evaluate treatment plans, maintaining accurate clinical documentation.
• Support departmental professional development, research, and quality initiatives to ensure evidence-based best practices.
• Contribute to the outpatient lymphoedema screening service.
The Successful Candidate Will Possess:
• Bachelor of Physiotherapy (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration.
• Strong clinical reasoning, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Passion for evidence-based, patient-focused physiotherapy care.
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
