Step into a high-impact leadership role at the forefront of permissions reform in the Conservation Regulator.
As Permissions Lead – Barwon South West, you will play a key role in coordinating risk-based permissions across the region, bringing people together, strengthening decision-making and helping shape the future of permissioning practice.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead end-to-end delivery of regional permissions work, working closely with Regulatory Operations and the permissions reform teams to turn complex applications into clear, timely and well-supported decisions. You’ll use strong case management, sound assessment and a practical risk-based approach to support effective regulatory outcomes across Barwon South West.
Working within the Regulatory Operations Unit, you will help drive consistent, efficient and risk-based permissioning. Key activities include evaluating applications to determine assessment needs, coordinating case management, supporting compliance monitoring priorities, contributing to continuous improvement in how permissions are delivered, engagement with key stakeholders and supporting compliance operations as required.

This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is negotiable within Barwon South West region with hybrid work arrangements available.
