About the role
A unique opportunity to provide support and assistance in the newly formed CAV Rental Taskforce. The P&O Officer supports the Taskforce Lead to develop and lead multi-disciplinary, integrated compliance project/s aimed at responding to Consumer Affairs Victoria's (CAV's) regulatory priorities, which typically elude standard or traditional approaches.
The P&O Officer sits within Performance and Outcomes, Regulatory Services and Consumer Affairs Victoria in general. As such, the role supports the strategic thinking and planning that enables the branch to meet its stated objectives.
This role provides important support and assistance for the planning, preparation and commencement of the Renting Taskforce, including liaison and coordination across the organisation and with key stakeholders. The role will assist the Taskforce Lead and team members to develop different approaches to regulation and compliance specific to Victoria's Residential Tenancies Act.
In addition to supporting operational considerations, the role requires input to the regular monitoring, analysis and reporting on Taskforce activities, performance and outcomes.
