About VHBA
The Victorian Health Building Authority (VHBA) is responsible for the rollout of the Victorian Government's multi-billion-dollar health capital projects. We're delivering world-class health facilities across Victoria including new public hospitals and emergency care, community health services, ambulance branches, residential aged care and mental health facilities. VHBA also provides technical support across engineering, property, asset management and environmental sustainability disciplines.
The Opportunity
There are multiple contract opportunities for this role, ranging from 12 to 36 months.
As part of the People and Capability Team, the People Partner supports Executive Leaders on all people-related matters for their assigned client groups. You will be building trusted relationships, providing expert advice, and guiding people initiatives and decisions for your portfolio. This position will have a focus on early intervention and resolution, by staying up to date on employment law changes affecting P&C operations to support the success of our team!
Coach and advise executives and senior leaders on strategic P&C matters, including workplace relations, injury management, workforce planning, remuneration, performance, organisational development, and learning.
Leverage data and analytics to inform evidence-based business cases to discuss with executives and senior leaders ensuring the supporting the delivery of the P&C Roadmap.
Support strategic workforce planning to ensure the right people are in the right roles at the right time to support the delivery of Victoria’s major health infrastructure projects!
We are looking for:
Experience in advising executives and senior leaders across HR areas such as workforce planning, workplace relations, remuneration, performance, and injury management.
Capability to successfully partnering with multiple client groups to deliver comprehensive HR support.
Ability to apply legislation, industry awards and agreements, and policies to support strategic decisions by senior leaders.
Tertiary qualification in HR or a related discipline.
