Salary range $92,600 - $105,064 per annum plus statutory super.

About the role
This is a full-time, fixed-term role until 11 January 2027.
Flexible/hybrid working arrangements are available.
This role will require you to:
- Work closely with hiring managers across VIT to facilitate end-to-end recruitment and selection, onboarding and induction processes.
- Provide effective administration and operational support across key People and Culture processes specifically as they relate to the recruitment, onboarding and retainment of staff.
- Coordinate the recruitment and selection process including preparation of documentation, publishing advertisements, reviewing applications where appropriate, arranging interviews, participating on interview panels, and maintaining relevant role documentation on VIT systems.
- Support hiring managers to build recruitment capability through guidance and coaching across each stage of the process.
- Ensure that all recruitment activities include candidate engagement to ensure that candidate experience and care is at the forefront of the process.

About you
As an experienced recruiter you will have sound and practical knowledge of current recruitment best practice and ideally have experience working in the Victorian public service.
In addition to this, as the successful candidate, you will have:
- Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills with an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships, provide clear and accurate advice on processes and policies, and work effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records, and deliver recruitment outcomes within required timeframes.
- A positive customer service ethos demonstrated by a responsive, solution finding approach.
- Resilience and flexibility, with a willingness to try new things, a desire to learn, share knowledge and make a difference.
