Court Services Victoria provides corporate services and facilities to support the performance of the judicial, quasi-judicial and administrative functions of Victoria's courts and tribunal, Judicial College and Judicial Commission.
Collectively, Victoria's Supreme, County, Magistrates', Children's, and Coroners courts, the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria, the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and Court Services Victoria (CSV) are referred to as the ‘Courts Group'.

People Services provide core human resources functions, ensuring Courts Group has productive work systems and modern workplaces. People Services design and implement programs that support work performance and the health, safety, and wellbeing of judicial officers, members and employees. Key functions include Health, Safety and Wellbeing, Workplace Relations, People Advisory Services, Talent Acquisition, People Partnering, Organisational Development, Judicial, Member and Executive Services, Payroll, Systems & Reporting. The Chief People Officer leads the function and is part of the CSV executive.
About the Role
The Payroll Officer will work as part of a team responsible for providing professional and efficient Payroll Operation services to support Court Services Victoria key people functions, strategic goals, and directions. This position is responsible for payroll processing for Jurisdiction Services, Magistrates' Court, the County Court, the Children's Court, the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), the Judicial College of Victoria (JCV), the Judicial Commission of Victoria, and the Coroners Court. The role also involves providing portfolio wide advice on entitlements and remuneration issues.
