Casual Patient Services Assistant Level 2 - Multiple Positions Available!
The PSA position works closely with local health professionals and administrative staff to support the patients journey and experience of care by providing a range of patient and environmental support services including
• Maintaining a high standard of cleaning and housekeeping to support infection control and patient comfort
• Transporting patients and/or equipment between departments in a timely manner
• Maintaining the clinical environment by replenishing stock, changing bed linen, disposing of waste, putting new stock away
• General ward support including errand running, fetch and carry, tidying up equipment to ensure items are put back where they should be
• assisting relevant health professionals to monitor patient welfare and comfort in patient bed rooms, lounges and waiting rooms
About the Role
Casual Hours per fortnight - Up to 76 F/N.
Position report to PSA CO-ORDINATOR
PSA certificate (Cert III in Health Services Assistance) is required for this role.
Remuneration as per Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 – Patient Services Assistant Level 2 (PS25) $60,606.00 (full time equivalent – prorated for casual employment).
