About the role
As a BMI Patient Services Assistant (PSA) you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of patient transport to and from medical imaging at University Hospital Geelong. The BMI PSA is an integral member of our medical imaging multi-disciplinary team assisting technologists and nurses in the provision of patient transport and patient assistance to ensure the safety of both patients and staff.
Permanent Part-time or full/time hours for PSAs to join the medical imaging team are now available. The available hours may be shared across more than one applicant, with rostered hours across a span of hours which may include weekdays/weekday evenings eand weekends. Your role will involve working as part of the PSA team to ensure timely transport of patients from University Hospital Geelong Wards, ALCC and Cardiology to and from medical imaging.
Barwon Medical Imaging (BMI) provides a comprehensive range of diagnostic services including X-Ray, OPG, CT, MRI, Ultrasound, Fluoroscopy, Angiography, Mammography, and Nuclear Medicine. These are performed by a team of highly skilled radiologists, radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses and support staff who ensure that all patients have access to quality services.
