YOUR ROLE IN OUR FUTURE
Multi Stream Patient Navigator
Fixed term, Fulltime Role – 80 Hours per Fortnight with 1 Accrued day off each month.
This contract finishes in June 2026, with possibility of ongoing employment.
About the Role
Our Patient Navigators are key members of the administrative team, working closely with clinicians to support patients throughout their care pathway
In this role, you will:
• Be the first point of contact for patients, carers, and community referrers — responding to questions, resolving appointment issues, and helping to clarify instructions.
• Coordinate communication between patients and their clinical care team, ensuring timely and clear information flow.
• Facilitate patient access by managing patient flow and assisting with navigation through the cancer care system.
• Work within a tumour stream model, across multiple tumour streams, allowing you to develop specialist knowledge and build strong, ongoing relationships with patients and their multidisciplinary care teams.

About You
You will bring:
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage compassionately with patients and families.
• Excellent organisational and administrative abilities, including managing competing priorities.
• Experience working in a healthcare, administrative, or customer service role (healthcare experience highly regarded).
• A proactive and collaborative approach to problem-solving.
Remuneration under the Health and Allied Services, Managers and Administrative Workers (Victorian Public Sector) (Single Interest Employers) Enterprise Agreement 2021-2025 will be from HS Grade 2 Year 1 (HS2) $66,768.00 per annum (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for part-time) to HS Grade 2 Year 5 (HS21) $73,811.92 per annum (full-time equivalent - to be prorated for part-time) dependant on candidate experience. To be discussed with Hiring Manager.
