An exciting opportunity exists for an ongoing role as Parliamentary Counsel (Senior Solicitor) with the Office of the Chief Parliamentary Counsel.
A Parliamentary Counsel provides legislative drafting, research and advice for the preparation of Bills and House Amendments, including moderately complex or sensitive Bills. The role also contributes to continuous business improvement and Office culture by participating in a range of initiatives and projects.
The role is located in the Office of the Chief Parliamentary Counsel, an Administrative Office in relation to the Department of Premier & Cabinet, and reports to a Senior Parliamentary Counsel or Executive.
