Latrobe Regional Health (LRH) currently has an exciting opportunity for a suitably qualified and dedicated Paediatric Fellow to join our Paediatrics unit. This position will be on a full time, fixed term basis, for a period of 12 months.
The Paediatric Fellow is a senior trainee medical officer who provides advanced paediatric care across inpatient, outpatient, neonatal and emergency settings. Working under the supervision of Consultant Paediatricians, the Fellow exercises a high level of clinical judgement and autonomy commensurate with their advanced training and experience.
The Fellow plays a key role in supporting the delivery of safe, high-quality and evidence-based paediatric services, while providing clinical leadership, supervision and teaching to junior medical staff and medical students. The role also contributes to quality improvement, clinical governance, service development and multidisciplinary care within the Paediatric Unit.
