Desirable:
Hold or be currently working towards a Diploma/Advanced Diploma of Children Services/Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care, Primary Education or equivalent
Senior First Aid training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
Anaphylaxis and Asthma management training as prescribed in the Education and Care Services National Law Act 2010
Food Handling Licence or willingness to obtain one
Having or be willing to apply for a PRODA
Previous experience working in a leadership role in a OSHC or childcare setting

As the OSHC Coordinator, you will be responsible for the delivery of high quality care to primary school aged children at this service.
The successful candidate will be required to work 5 days per week from 7:30am to 8:30am and 3:00pm to 6:00pm.
Planning hours of 2 hours per week will be allowed outside normal hours of duty
As the OSHC Coordinator you will be responsible for all aspects of the delivery of the OSHC program.

Murrabit Group School evolved with the amalgamation of small schools in the area in 1971. It is situated in beautiful grounds and is 30km north of Kerang, 21km west of Koondrook-Barham and 3km from the Murray River.
The school serves a farming area with 90%of students travelling to school by bus. The local Murrabit community are very supportive of the school, and have a school enrolment of 25.
Murrabit Group School's belief is that every student has the ability to learn, and that this best occurs in a flexible, warm, happy and positive environment. The school aims to achieve this through a well-balanced program that encourages growth in self-esteem, self confidence, independent learning habits, creative and critical thinking, cooperation and tolerance.

The school curriculum is supplemented by weekly visits from Mobile Area Resource Centre, Mobile Area Craft Centre and music and Italian programs. Membership of the Murray Plains Cluster involving interschool sporting activities and camps, Bike Education and Road Safety, an intensive swimming program, Arts Council productions, Stephanie Alexander Garden Program, Grade 5/6 Leadership Program and an excellent camps program for the whole school.
The school has spacious grounds and oval area, and an excellent school sports stadium which has provided an outstanding all weather facility. We also have access to community sporting facilities for golf, tennis, football, netball and cricket, with a large complex available for special activities.
The school receives wonderful support from the local community and this is reciprocated by school facilities being made available for community use. The Murrabit Advancement Association provides the opportunity to use the monthly market as an outstanding means of raising funds locally. The school is an integral part of the community and this is reflected by the publication of a local newsletter, community participation in special functions at the school and strong involvement of the school in many significant community activities.
