About the Role
This is a Fixed Term Full Time, 76hrs/fortnight, position to cover Parental Leave until 30/10/2026
The Orthotic and Prosthetic Unit at RCH is seeking a fixed term, full time Grade One or Grade Two Orthotist to join their dynamic team.
This is a clinical position responsible for the Orthotic management of children with a diverse range of orthopaedic and neurological conditions. There is a high proportion of custom work which is well supported by a team of competent and capable technicians.
Classification for this position will range from CO7–CP51 (base salary $70,590 to $103,924 per annum, plus superannuation plus salary packaging)

About the Department
The department provides orthoses (braces/supportive devices) and prostheses (artificial limbs) to children and adolescents who have acute and/or chronic conditions requiring treatment. Orthotist Prosthetists are skilled in the treatment of a wide range of neuromuscular-skeletal conditions, as well as providing treatment post surgically, for fracture management and positional plagiocephaly.
