About the Role:
This is a Fixed Term Part Time position at 0.2 EFT until 30 September 2026. within the Orthopaedics Department. We are seeking a fellowship trained Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon to join the team in a locum capacity, specialising in adolescent hip conditions.
You will be responsible for providing general paediatric orthopaedic care at the Royal Children’s Hospital. You will possess the relevant skills in the in the assessment and management of patients with general Paediatric orthopaedic presentations: elective and emergency.

Demonstrated capacity to work harmoniously and collaboratively within a team
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills
Proven ability to leading by example in providing the highest quality clinical care to children and young people.
FRACS (Ortho) or equivalent College Fellowship in Orthopaedic Surgery
Fellowship training in Paediatric Orthopaedics
Specialist Medical Registration with AHPRA
