The Role
The Oracle Application Development Lead provides expert technical leadership in the design, development and maintenance of Oracle APEX applications and system integrations. The role supports key enterprise platforms, including Oracle ERP Cloud (Finance and Procurement), HR and other business systems, ensuring solutions are secure, scalable and aligned with organisational standards.
This role plays a critical part in improving business processes, maintaining data integrity across systems, resolving complex technical issues and driving continuous improvement across the department's enterprise application landscape.
Main Accountabilities
The Team
This position forms part of the Information Technology and Workplace Services (IT&WS) Branch within the Corporate Services Group.
IT&WS oversees the delivery and governance of ICT and workplace services across the department, ensuring systems are appropriately designed, secure and aligned with business needs. The team works closely with internal stakeholders and external providers to deliver reliable, user-focused enterprise systems.
About You
You are an experienced Oracle professional with demonstrated expertise in leading the development and support of Oracle APEX applications, including advanced PL/SQL and JavaScript. You have strong experience designing and supporting integrations using Oracle Integration Cloud and web services, and the ability to analyse business requirements and translate them into effective, scalable technical solutions. You communicate clearly and collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience with Oracle ERP Cloud Finance and Procurement modules, along with Oracle Cloud certifications, will be highly regarded.
