Operations Support Coordinator
About the role:
Join a dynamic public health team as the Operations Support Coordinator, supporting the smooth and efficient functioning of the Western Public Health Unit through coordinated business systems, streamlined administrative processes, and high-quality operational support. This replacement position works proactively and collaboratively across the unit to maintain effective workflows, guide the Administrative Officer, support reporting and documentation requirements, and ensure consistent use of organisational systems and procedures.

About you:
You are an experienced, proactive, and adaptable administrative and operations professional with a commitment to high-quality service and continuous improvement. You bring strong experience coordinating business systems, administrative processes, or operational workflows within a fast-paced environment, ideally within health, government, or community settings.
You have demonstrated capability supporting or guiding administrative staff, helping them deliver reliable, high-quality work through clear communication, organisation, and a supportive approach to task management. You build positive relationships across teams, bringing emotional intelligence, professionalism, and excellent stakeholder communication skills to your interactions with staff, senior leaders, and external partners.
You have strong technical and organisational skills, including confidence navigating Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and reporting tools, with the ability to follow procedures, maintain accurate records, and support continuous process improvements. You manage competing priorities with composure and attention to detail, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently, accurately, and with a strong customer-service focus.
