The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Operations Manager – Project to provide a critical role at the Metropolitan Remand Centre.
About the Business Unit
The Metropolitan Remand Centre is a 954-bed maximum security facility for unsentenced male offenders within the Department of Justice and Community Safety.
About the Role
The Operations Manager - Project, is required to manage the coordination of multiple infrastructure projects occurring across the location, including ensuring compliance with prison procedures and acting as a point of contact for various stakeholders involved in the projects. The Operations Manager is also responsible for the day-to-day management of a small team of staff involved in the projects. They are also responsible for the communication of the project progression to the broader location.
It may be a requirement of this position to work weekends and public holidays, which will be remunerated in accordance with the applicable provision of the Victorian Public Service Enterprise Agreement 2024.
