The Department of Justice and Community Safety is seeking an Offender Management Supervisor to provide a critical role within Corrections Victoria.
About the Business Unit
H.M. Prison Langi Kal Kal is a minimum-security men's protection prison located 140klm west of Melbourne at Trawalla. The prison's primary purpose is to prepare male prisoners for transition, reintegration, and release. As a working farm with eight separate industries, there is a strong focus on employment, training, and work readiness.
About the Role
The Offender Management Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that the Offender Management Prison Pathway is embedded under the Correctional Practice Framework. Working closely with the onsite prison team, the Offender Management Supervisor leads a team who promotes best practice case management and provides advise and direction regarding all aspects of offender management. The Offender Management Supervisor establishes effective relationships with internal business units to ensure that the prison achieves its objectives.
