About the Role:
This is a Permanent Part Time position at 5.25 hours per fortnight within the Ophthalmology department. You will be responsible for the provision of primary to tertiary paediatric oculoplastic ophthalmic services to outpatients and inpatients.
What You'll Achieve:
You will provide inpatient and outpatient paediatric ophthalmic care, both surgical and non-surgical to patients of the Department of Ophthalmology
You will provide consultation service and surgical care as required to patients of other units and to liaise in a timely and effective manner with consultant and junior staff of other units
Contribute to department meetings and audit processes
Be actively involved in department clinical research activities
You will participate in the annual Paediatric Ophthalmology Seminar run by the department
Your Skills and Experience:
Legally qualified medical practitioner
FRANZCO or equivalent
Fellowship in oculoplastic surgery
Demonstrated experience in general ophthalmology and oculoplastic surgery as it pertains to children
Previous experience using the electronic medical record system “EPIC” is desirable
