Occupational Therapist Grade 3
Ongoing, Part Time Role
• 45.6 hours per fortnight
• Parkville location
• Salary between $104,135 to $118,981 (pro-rated for part time) depending on experience
This is a Senior Clinician (Grade 3) Occupational Therapy – Part Time, 3 days per week. and will provide an exciting opportunity for a dynamic and highly motivated applicant to contribute to the care delivered in this specialist hospital. You will help patients maximise independence, safety, comfort and personal satisfaction and, in doing so, improve their sense of wellbeing and quality of life. Your role will include inpatient and outpatient clinical care as well as a broad range of leadership opportunities.
The successful applicant will provide strong clinical leadership and practice in the area of cancer and Occupational Therapy as well as have extensive experience and leadership within the following areas:
• Leading a culture of quality improvement
• Leading the teaching, education, professional development activities within a department
• Developing a culture of research and academic activities
• Change management
The successful candidate will possess:
• Registered Occupational Therapist with AHPRA.
• Relevant clinical experience in acute oncology and haematology.
• Experience in service planning, development and evaluation
• Strong quality improvement, education and leadership skills
• Strong interpersonal, communication and time management skills
• Knowledge/experience at a senior Allied Health level in cancer care
• Demonstrated leadership within the profession/Allied Health/cancer care
