About the Role
We are seeking applications for an enthusiastic Grade 1 Occupational Therapist to join our clinical rotational program, which has:
- 12 rotations across acute, inpatient rehabilitation, community rehabilitation (CRC), community health (CHC) and Child and Family Services settings
- Clinical specialties of orthopaedics, surgical, medicine, neuro rehabilitation, geriatric evaluative management (GEM), trauma and paediatrics
- Bed based rotations inclusive of a weekend and public holiday roster with additional financial rewards with pay and leave for weekend work
Key responsibilities
- Deliver evidence-based occupational therapy assessment, intervention and review within multidisciplinary teams
- Manage a clinical caseload appropriate to a Grade 1 role
- Participate in collaborative care planning and outcome measurement
- Contribute to quality improvement activities, service development and clinical projects
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting in line with organisational standards
What we’re looking for
- Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist
- Clinical knowledge and skills appropriate to a Grade 1 position
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently with appropriate supervision and support
- Commitment to reflective practice and ongoing professional development
- Experience using clinical information systems and adapting to new technologies
