About Occupational Therapy
Our Occupational Therapy department at Austin Health is a progressive hub of patient-centred care, continuous improvement, professional growth and supportive career structures. Our focus is on wellbeing, evidence-based service improvement, sustainable workforce, and growth and development.
Our five diverse streams - Outpatients, Acute, Aged Care, Rehabilitation, and Better@Home – offer endless opportunities to refine your skills and expand your horizons. We offer a multitude of rotations across services including speciality areas such as palliative care, general medicine, acute stroke unit as well as our state-wide spinal rehabilitation and acquired brain injury unit. You'll find inspiration, growth, and a sense of belonging within our team.
This role will join our collaborative and welcoming team where you'll have the opportunity to work in a supportive culture where high-quality supervision and on-the-job skills training are priority, enabling you to excel in your role and continue your professional growth.
About the role
We are searching for experienced and graduate Occupational Therapists who are driven towards personal development, delivering excellent patient care and have an enthusiasm for working in a dynamic and fast-paced public health setting.
We offer a structured program of clinical education, training and support to transition graduates into their roles and prepare them for success in our rotations program.
