This is a full time permanent position at 80 hours per fortnight within the Occupational Therapy department – Neurodevelopmental, Ambulatory and Medical Specialities Stream.
Working at the Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) provides a unique and exciting opportunity to work alongside children and their families during pivotal life phases. You will be responsible for providing occupational therapy assessment and intervention services to inpatient and/or outpatient infants, children and adolescents, to support child development and maximise participation in daily activities and quality of life. Areas of inpatient service delivery may include: gastroenterology, cardiology, oncology, respiratory and general medicine.
Outpatient Services may include specialist assessment clinics (autism and developmental) and/or specialist tertiary clinics for management of neurological/neurodevelopmental conditions. The role may also deliver specialist clinical care to children and families across the Hospital in the Home (HITH), Post-Acute Care (PAC) and/or Complex Care service programs.
Classification for this position will range from VF6-VF9 Grade 2 Year 1 to Grade 2 Year 4 (FTE base salary $95,179 to $108,768 per annum, plus superannuation).

About the Department:
The Occupational Therapy department is within the Division of Allied and Digital Health. We provide inpatient and outpatient services for infants, children, adolescents with a wide range of medical conditions. Our team works closely with families, carers, community services and other health care professionals to ensure the best occupational therapy outcomes for our patients.
