Occupational Therapist – NDIS Lead
About the role:
Western Health is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Grade 3 Occupational Therapist to join our occupational therapy team, on a temporary, full-time basis. This DNIS Lead role provides clinical expertise and leadership to support timely care to NDIS participants admitted to Western Health’s Sunshine, Footscray and Williamstown Hospital’s. This position works closely with acute and subacute Grade 3 OT clinicians, the Grade 3 Social Work NDIS lead and is supported by the Grade 4 subacute OT.
Key responsibilities include supporting clinical staff to navigate the NDIS pathway and complete necessary documentation, liaising regularly with the social work NDIS lead and the NDIS Health Liaison Officer, communicating with the MDT and providing clinical guidance and expertise, liaising with internal and external stakeholders and delivering high-quality clinical care.
