1. Proven ability to conduct and analyse comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, write reports when/as required and develop strategies and intervention plans to ensure optimal outcomes and classroom engagement.

5. Active participation in Individual Education Plan meetings, contributing to the development of personalised educational goals and ensuring that the therapeutic strategies align with each student's specific needs and objectives.
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate occupational therapist to join our team at Mount View Primary School. In this role, you will work closely with students who are deaf/hard of hearing, as well as their families, classroom teachers, teachers of the deaf, speech pathologists and psychologist. You will provide targeted occupational therapy services to students who may also face additional challenges including but not limited to motor planning, dyslexia, working memory, sensory processing differences, executive function, theory of mind, attention.
This position involves a collaborative approach to ensure each student's individual needs are met, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment. You will have access to a wide range of resources and support to help you succeed in making a meaningful impact on students' development and learning
Participate in IEP (Individual Education Plan) meetings and contribute to the development and monitoring of personalised educational goals.

Mount View Primary School, established in 1965, is situated in the suburb of Glen Waverley. The projected 2025 enrolment is 920 students. This figure includes 28 students enrolled in the school¿s Deaf Facility.
The school is proud of the diverse cultural representation which reflects the characteristics of the local community.  A school neighbourhood boundary was introduced in 2011, and the school population mainly comprises students living locally. Students are grouped into forty-one single year level classes across the school. 
School facilities feature a diverse range of classroom arrangements, including two original Light Timber Construction blocks (1965), a Visual Arts complex (c1975), a full-size Gymnasium (2003), a Performing Arts Centre (c2005), Senior Learning Centre (2012) and a range of contemporary portable classrooms.
