Job Title: Nursing Education Coordinator - Medicine and Ambulatory
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Nursing Education Coordinator Medicine and Ambulatory to join our newly established Nursing Education leadership team. This is one of four new Nursing Education Coordinator positions, reporting to the Director of Nursing Education, and aligned to one of the following clinical education streams:
This role presents an exciting opportunity to influence, lead and support contemporary nursing education across a dynamic paediatric healthcare environment at the RCH.
The role is a Permanent Full-Time position at 1.0 EFT / 80 hours per fortnight within the Nursing Education Department.
The Nursing Education Coordinator Medicine and Ambulatory provides leadership in the planning, delivery and evaluation of evidence‑based nursing education aligned with organisational priorities, professional standards and workforce needs. Working in close partnership with clinical leaders, educators and multidisciplinary teams, the role supports the development of a capable, confident and future‑focused nursing workforce.
As the Nursing Education Coordinator, you will work collaboratively across education and clinical teams while maintaining a key portfolio focus aligned to your designated stream.
Classification for this position will range from XB1 – XB2 classification codes (FTE base salary $130,582.4 to $133,686.8 per annum, plus superannuation).
