About the role
The Nurse Unit Manager – Barwon Early Parenting Centre is responsible for the provision of leadership and strategic direction to ensure delivery of a high-quality clinical practices and patient care.
The Nurse Unit Manager provides the tactical management of operational, financial, human and information resources within their area, liaising with the relevant clinical and support services leaders.
The role is a key leader within of the Directorate and Nursing leadership teams at Barwon Health and as such will contribute to the overall management, performance and outcomes of the organisation by developing professional and collaborative partnerships and participating in committees and groups to support this.

About the Barwon Early Parenting Centre
The Barwon Early Parenting Centre provides specialist support and delivers flexible, targeted services for families with children 0-4 years old. The centre aims to enhance the parent-child relationship and support parents with strategies for achieving their parenting goals. These goals are often in areas such as sleep and settling, child behaviours, and parent and child health and wellbeing. These goals are achieved through structured programs that vary from residential, day stay and in-home support.
